Revenge Porn perpetrators think they are above the law. Sadly, 99% of them are right. Why? Because Revenge Porn is not a crime and, therefore, a victim’s only hope for justice is to file a civil lawsuit. The problem is, filing a lawsuit is costly.
Three months ago, Attorney Patrick McGeehan accepted my case. He took it out of compassion and the desire to bring justice to victims of Revenge Porn. To date, he has not been paid for his services. He and his staff have worked hard to research law, draft pleadings, and conduct investigations.
In the months ahead, Patrick will be fighting five defendants on my behalf. One of these defendants is Cloudflare, a major U.S. corporation that willingly provides services to websites that destroy the lives of women. Cloudflare has the power to hire the best attorneys for as long as they want. I don’t.
With your legal fund donation, my perpetrators will be held accountable for their actions. If there is justice for me, there will be hope and justice for all victims.
